Wrightsville and Columbia recently installed  65 new cast-iron lights with 1930s-style lantern design and LED bulbs on the Veterans Memorial Bridge. (Columbia–Wrightsville Bridge) Every morning on my way to work crossing the RT 30 bridge I can see the new lights reflecting in the Susquehanna. So one morning I took a detour to try and capture the lights reflecting in the water.  I was rewarded with a beautiful sunrise.

Click on image to view larger The Limerick Generating Station in Pennsylvania is located next to the Schuylkill River in Limerick Township, Montgomery County, northwest of Philadelphia.  Bechtel Power Corporation started construction in June 1974.  Unit one first began producing nuclear power at a limited capacity on December 22 1984 and was certified for commercial operation on February 1, 1986.  Unit two started producing power on August 1 1989 and commercial operation began on January 8, 1990.
